Women Empowerment Outreach.
WEO is a not-for-profit organization that benefits women in Winnipeg, Manitoba by providing mentorship programs around significant issues. WEO will address the following issues: navigating the health-care system, ending the poverty cycle, business start-up initiative, mental health awareness, and family crisis support.
Project Objectives
WEO plans to develop a resource assessment Centre both physical and online, where women can come for an intake and assessment meeting, identifying their needs, and classify their issues or challenges into three main categories.
- Financial Mentorship (Education and Support).
- Business Mentorship (Business Development and Support).
- Family crisis referrals (Education, Support, Counselling).
The organization is not planning to reinvent the wheel, but will partner with other existing organizations in Winnipeg that provide services in the above categories,
